The Red Alert label

....is extremely inconsistent in terms of quality. They have some really cheesy sounding tracks and then they release something like Dj Dyno - Ghost in the Shell in July which is an *amazing* track and has done incredible damage on the floor whenever I've played it. One remix of Panama - Peaceful World from last year was also quite good, but most everything else I've heard off of that label has been ...um, *not quite as good* to put it mildly. How can a label have such wild variation in quality like this?

are they still putting stuff out? i have some old stuff from them, like hesperia - blue waves and moonman - first light, but i didnt know they released stuff anymore

yup, they're releasing about 10 per year now. Some of it sounds like they signed a 15 year old, Castles in the Sky-loving raver kid who learned Reason 5 months prior, but some of it like Ghost in the Shell....good god that track is amazing (simple in structure but amazing).
