I'm not Alex.

Instead of engaging in ill-flung personal attacks, make positive use of your time and humbly learn from your mistake. Be happy that it was a simple one. :)

the ipod man...

Apple's computers are the but the ipod get-the-ing-real

You're telling me this company that is putting out 30" Wide Screen LCD's, investing money in top end graphics and design have only begun to discover the "battery" life problem. Now is this a gimmick or what? Did the world dive head first in and are still getting sucked dry? Of course...what a better way to monopolize the market. And to be honest the underlying marketing strategy works well if you have a high-end component product line.

So this is what they do huh? You all must be like stfu kidnyce you introverted extrovert with this inner hatred unleashing uncontrollably. You know what suck it.

What genius does it take to know that right off the bat, they were scamming the world. Yes they dominated the "mp3 player" industry but cmon, milking it dry are we? And all because of the "battery" or the "scroll wheel" both industry standards that have been well established as far back as the 90s (rechargeable battery emerges). And what is it's greatest pitfall? "The batter life sucks..." DUH! Why would they(Apple) come into this market "knowing" they will dominate and saturate it's competition if they release this new great product when they can release the same product with 1 excusable fault - the battery. Of course they can release other revisions (HP anyone) which will cost you more, con you into purchasing a "longer battery" unit after you've discovered that the 1-4th generations of ipod completely sucked except its superb usability.

Yes thats right, they did it exactly as they should have. But believe me, with such a industry leading company, wouldn't you think that they'd test the battery life prior to re-releasing 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen and then everyone bow down...Apple with the help of HP vows to provide you with a longer battery life. YES SPEND MORE MONEY, BUY ANOTHER ONE. Sorry but I don't believe in dominating a product line and then milking it dry.

Let me just put it in these terms...photo ipod, longer battery ipod, scroll wheel, multimedia players...all this crap has been out there people. Just they take their time to release revisions, new hot items, which they can profit from. So don't be sucked into the masses. Do some homework and predict the future.

We have cellphone's that are taking over a 1mp pix which never seems to go wrong, but this "extended HP" battery will give you xx amount more hours of play. 1mp cellphone cameras with no problems vs "battery life" that still has been sucky - you choose...

and please, don't get me started on their "so-called" soft updates...just another reason for ipod to royally screw you by ing up your ipod making you get a new one at whatever cost minus warranty info...if this world was perfect you'd have an mp3 player that works completely fine and have not one outstanding problem. What company would send out "soft updates" which will crash your computer, up your own product. It's classic business - your product is in demand and the media needs to see you taking action (upgrading, making it better, giving it a fresher look, feel, usability) but really you are sending out updates that are ing people's up. But it's ok to people's up, you are leading the industry, people will buy no matter what as long as they get what they need. This is monopoly! This is a way you stronghold your competitors and retain the position without fading. This business ethic is WRONG!
