When Martin uses the surplus to pay off our debt i'll be praising him. For now all i see still is lots of waste, too much tax and a lot of talking.
Give me a government committed to lowering our costs in order to increase our services and i'll praise that government even if its the NDP. |

So....are you saying that you believe the conservative govt. has done and would do that, if back in power? Or Do you not trust any govt. party right now?

In a perfect world this would be true....but your ideal of lowering costs to increase services is more of a liberal theory/tactic. No conservative party has ever done this....actually, they do have the esteemed reputation of decreasing services. |

Yeah, after what, 10 yrs of talking about these issues??
The amount of suffering caused by the buck passing of the Liberals in regards to these issues suddenly doesn't go away.
Don't tell me any of you want to commend these people after their idiocy and cowardice in not taking responsibility for these issues is the reason they hit such a critical state.
They should be ashamed of their record, and all of you know it.
Also this is about the 3rd or 4th time this contract has been "settled" under the Liberals.. whoopie!! |

| LOL im serious... its not about parties for me. What it is about is getting to what is needed to be done. So far the only party that comes close to what i believe should be done is the conservatives. If the Liberals were true Liberals i would vote for them. But sadly since trudeau the liberal party has been wastful and corrupt. |

Corruption is a 2-way street. But I do miss the trudeau yrs, things are just not the same now
And for me Mulroney was an Ahole the set back the trust in conservative views. |

In every single political post I've read from you on this forum I have not seen one single item even remotely resembling a "fact". All I see from you is a lot of Pretension Pasta with Moralizing Marinara and Speculation Sauce (sorry, I'm hungry).
Just because you've got your degree in Brainwashing 101 doesn't mean you're qualified to comment on political issues, and especially doesn't mean you know the first thing about economics. How about instead of the old "RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH BECAUSE I HAVE TEH L33T POLITIKZ D3GREE", you actually try putting together a cohesive argument for once?
TURDeau is single-handedly responsible for synonymizing the word "liberal" with "corrupt and wasteful statism and the violation of individual rights". Respect!!?? I might refrain from dancing on his grave but I can't stop myself from cringing at the mention of his name. And just for your information, with respect to your comment here:

You COMPLETELY misunderstood the concept. Jay was talking about getting rid of all the bloody red tape on our essential services and (I'm assuming) making them at least semi-private if not fully private. That is the only way to get rid of the waste and to bring the services up to a reasonable level of quality, because it is the only way that the people performing the services will actually have INCENTIVE to perform them WELL. The "liberal" solution is to throw more money at it, just like the Liberals are doing for health care now, without any concrete plan for how it's going to be spent.
You want to explain to me how you're going to get people to work hard and manage their money wisely when there's no reward whatsoever for doing so (or punishment for doing the exact opposite)? |
