Effect from TOOL

hey,
how does one go about making that effect from time of our lives (club mix), you know the one, were the song sounds like it skips (kinda like a cd skipping)?
i use fruity loops 4.5
any help much appreciated.

| I use that plugin...but there's many other ways to do it. Sometimes I overload the CPU and get a better effect but it takes time a few times to get it right. :) |

Dude that is ing histerical.. Kill all your resources and then play something , Record that sound it makes. DGRAAA AHHH AHHH AHh |

| yea i was about to say, i can make that effect easily enough by loading 6 vanguards and listening to the dying squeals of my CPU melting down. but that effect is nifty and i can move my mouse! my PC isnt crashing! thanks for the link! |
