wow .. well we can all say the search function in tranceaddict is very complicated to comprehend and may take months to analyze the pure logistics of the function.
i hear that the search function has boggled the minds of calculus geniuses who have fully comprehended 'Simpson's Law'. :haha: |

Search works, it is just, well, SLOW. The problem becomes worse when ppl click search again thinking it didn't go through (when it did) and then that just causes even more bottlenecking (since their first search is still being carried out).
I see so many useless search queries, like 'video', 'tiesto', 'good tracks'. You gotta be a little bit more specific, or else, it'll take forever.
Exact phrase searches work much better than keyword searches |

hmm.. if you keep track of everything that people search for, can you create a popular searches section, where it lists the most common searches people look for? |

"Proof that the search button is adware. Swamper sees everything that we search for."
What's with your sig? I don't understand what you're getting at with the term adware.
What I do see are queries that bottleneck the server due to excessive execution time - which I then sometimes kill off manually because they're taking 4+ minutes to return the query results. |
