wtf is it about????? david lynch is crazzzzzyyyyy!!!
Slylee
yes, i definitely think patricia arquett is adorable...with her little croked tooth and everything. she was great in True Romance:)
Basstard
yea true romance has been my fave movie for like.. ever.

you can understand my reaction the first time i heard Solar Stone: Solar Coaster and i heard a familar voice ;)

"Lost Highway" is a very very confusing film. it was immensely entertaining but i just dont get wat its tryin to say. it makes sense for 30 mins and then the director seems to go off on one lol

David Lynch directed mulholland drive which is a pretty confusing movie as well. Guess you have to watch the movie a few times before it all makes sense. I like those types of movies that make you think a bit and are deeper, might have to see Lost Highway.
jonze234
didnt he also direct Twin Peaks?
PhilBaXteR
Yep. He is one of my favourite directors, Wild At Heart with Nicholas Cage is another of his great movies. Really want to see Last Highway and Mulholland Drive was well a head-!! Good tho

i was the opposite. i had never seen True Romance until recently. my boyfriend had the DVD and was like, "OH MY GOD, YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THIS"? so we were watching it, and during that part, i was like holy , that's from solar coaster! he had never heard the song, so i played it for him, it was funny.

I have never seen the movie, yet I own the 'Lost Highway' soundtrack (bought it for Perfect Drug by NIN). Is it worthwhile to watch?

^^^ Napoleon Dynamite rocks :D
Basstard
well lynch's movies are very different from other directors. for starters lost highway and mulholland drive are not shot in a linear way but in a muddled timeline (like any tarantino movie only not as obvious.)

secondly some characters arnt meant to be seen as real people but rather representations of another characters emotions. if i've lost ya here then maybe lost highway aint for ya :) heheh.

for those who've seen mulholland drive but not this - you'll definatly enjoy it and you'll notice lots of similarities in the themes.

If you want a head trip, then yea. I've seen a lot of his films, and none of them made sense. Sure, you could sit in a Starbucks and discuss symbolism, but they have no clear messages to them. The first one I saw was entertaining because it was just out there, but it got stale pretty fast.
