there was absolutely nothing fun about the mud... it hurt it really, really hurt my legs walking across it....it hurt so much that I couldn't dance and it took so damn long to get anywhere that i think i spent more time walking between arenas than listening to music.
as regards to this year... the soundsystems were absolutely attrocious... i had difficulty enjoying listening to any of it. also no one wanted to go listen to what i wanted to listen to n i really wasn't that interested in what most people were listening to.... i got bored. I really think that the only festival i'm likely to go to next year is Renaissance.... now that was a ing amazing festival. |

| I went this year n thought it was miles better than last year, weather was top and made alot of difference to me. The soundystem at festivals is neva gonna be as good as in a club tbh is it, so I kinda expected it to be the way it was. I'll more than likely be goin nxt year depending on lineup an ticket prices :) |

i'm not to keen on camping with the likes that we saw last year in the car park not sure if we told what we saw, and i can't be arsed right now, i will later, but me!! not fun!!
and if it means more rnb with their poxy mc getting a bigger stage and the gansta rapper croud getting bigger i'll be really put off.

| yes, the clientelle is a major consideration... the number of wankers really has gone up since 2002... it's rudeboy city and there have been times when I have been concerned for my own safety... and rightly so considering some of the stories that were posted on the boards post-festival. |

| Haha you loner. On the other hand I had a good time this year too. The main arena was okay, but the techno arena was very good. There were plenty of faces on the floor during Umek's set. I might come this year depending on the lineup, but I would prefer to go to Mayday again! |

Is this a confirmed report, or hopeful speculation?
It's about time Radio 1 took over from the clowns at Galaxy! Hopefully we'll get some decent coverage this year.
Oh, and I've been to every GKGG so far, thus there is no way I'm missing this one! :D |
