anyone ever experienced orbital live?? i caught their last ever set at glastonbury this year (u can download it, radio 1) and they blew me away... never knew how amazing they were, and the amount of 4/4 beat they like to use, i thought they were all about breakz, great mixture of beats, and so uplifting it was unbelievable. just seeing if anyone experienced the same as i did? i am honestly gutted they are never doing another live set (thats what they said at glasto).. amazing!

I would love to see Orbital live, I can't remember the last time they've been here to the US, i'm sure i've seen them being advertised at Buzz back in the day, but I probably couldnt make it.

Orbital ahead of Massive Attack are probably my favourite all time producer in all genres of music. I had the pleasure to see Massive Attack this year, but have never seen Orbital. Would have loved to though.

I thought for a while that this was indeed the last ever set by orbital, but they just meant in England, as they had a few more in other places afterwards incluing T in the Park I believe and somewhere in Spain too. It is a shame though. Would love to have seen them. Saw the Glasto set on TV but obviously not as good

Saw them play about 4 years ago. The show kicked ass. I'm not sure how much of it was "live", but they sure had enough gear to do it.

I went to see Orbital play when they came to japan about 3 years ago. They were awesome! the best non-chemically enhanced clubbing event i've ever been to. U think their stuff sounds good on Cd but it just blows u away when it's live. Great stuff, i'll miss them now that they're gone.

they came for the wired festival here in japan last july (on my birthday incidentally, didn't get to go tho) - was that before or after they said they were chucking it in?

Would be cool if they planned a final farewell-tour throughout the world...

i have not got a link for it, but i have it right now, 30 mins worth with halycon and the doctor who tune (amazing), all recorded because it was live on radio 1. i will give it to anyone that wants it, but if u just type in orbital live glastonbury 2004 in any download program (bad i know) like limewire.com and ares.com then u can get it pretty quick and easy, worth it, so good, listen to it every time im about to go out, goes down in history. makes it even better cause i was actually there, i remember exactly where i was standing, amazing event...
