hmm...I'm guessing it'll be some type of module where you can combine different reason modules [maelstrom, subtractor, nn-xt, etc.] and combine them into one patch, acting like a single instrument.
Sounds pretty nifty to me since you normally layer a lot of modules within Reason anyway -- any thoughts?? |

the bit below looks weird, with another rack placed into the combinator.
but if it does what you think it does (actually, i think the same:D) it could keep things a lot more organised :) |

Yea.
The guys over at propellerheads are currently accepting people who use Reason 2.5 to beta test this 'new version' of Reason. You can sign up at the reason website. |

Yeah I read that too, makes me wonder if it's a fake shot or just an easter egg of sorts put in by the developers before final release. |

"Propellerhead have for a long time been resisting requests from many users to incorporate audio recording, third-party plug-in hosting and other DAW-type features into Reason, and there’s no change to their stance in version 3. Indeed, Propellerhead make it clear that they see Reason as the software alternative to a hardware workstation synth, with the same capabilities for composing, production and now live performance too."
bleh, no vst support :( |

some info on the combi thing and Reason 3.0.
Am saying this here and now, the love for reason is fading for me, i really want new sounds, especially for prog, i really want those Absynth, or atmospehre sounds.
Am begging god that Props add a new powerfull synth in 3.0, or els i would find this entire update worthless. |

i agree... to move with the other players this release has to have something fairly special.. vst support would be nice (rewiring is a pain in the arse) just have to wait and see.. |
