| for drum and bass and house you can't go wrong with TAO..if you hate trance this is your best bet...good not great line up, plus its something for all ages.. |

| I'm way down for some sick house. I was hoping to have an epic trance set playing for the '05 countdown, hopefully Acosta will be doing the honors. Not the best lineup, but really no complaining allowed if you're 0-20 years old. I really wish I could be @ Giant this NYE. |

well there is one other option for the 18+ if they are willing to travel to SF.... Ferry Corsten will be at Planet New Year in SF. It doesn't say anything on the Planet New Year site.. but his website says he will be at a "Coolworld" event on NYE, along with spinning at SF's Spundae. Either way. i will be at Tiesto! :)

| yeah but u would have to go to 1015 to get ferry at midnight. and plus i hear planet new year isnt to impresive. but i might make that trip to see ferry in san fran. sounds to good to pass up. |

Let's make a few things clear about Ferry Corsten in SF.
1. Yes, he's playing at Planet New Year. He is even listed as their MAIN HEADLINER in their promotions (other than on coolworld.com, that is, but that might have been switched around since promotion started), yet has an EARLY SLOT. Something around 7:30pm - 10:30pm (or maybe it's 7:00pm - 10:00pm). I think this is really lame on their part. Marketing Ferry as a headliner, when he isn't doing any headlining timeslots.
Coolworld SF is supposed to be a whole new team, but they are up to the same old tricks.
2. Ferry is NOT playing for Spundae at Ten15. He is playing for Ten15 at Ten15 (Ten15 booked him, not Spundae). What it says on Ferry's website is an error. He will play for five hours at Ten15, approx set time is 11:30pm - 4:00pm. Not sure what time the party starts/ends yet.
3. Spundae DOES have their own seperate party with D:Fuse (midnight - 3am) and Derrick Carter (3am - 7am or 8am) at the Mezzanine. Derrick Carter is actually playing down in LA for TAO '05, but considering he has to be at the Mezzanine at 3am, my guess is that his TAO timeslot is early. Party is from 8pm - 8am. |

Does anyone know where I can find pictures of TAO 2004, 2003, 2002?
I've been partying in Japan and Asia for the last 5-6 years, and this will be my first big party in the U.S. in years.
The scene in the U.S. is pretty weak from what I've seen. I thought all that neon beads, mickey mouse gloves, stuffed animals, and glowsticks and went away a long time ago.
I'd think the Tiesto crowd would be less "raverish", but my girl is only 19, so it looks like TAO is it :( |
