I'm a Jewish American stuck at work signing Christmas cards all day.... what's worng with this picture???
well, at least I finally got a Canadian Thanksgiving this year. |

I wish our thanksgiving got us a bloody almost 4.5 day weekend :(
Our offices in the US were closed as of 3pm Wednesday and wont reopen till Monday! How sweet for them! |

i can't recall but does Canada hav fewer/more stat holidays than the US ?

Uhm, we got 8 "public holidays" I know,
New Year's Day
Good Friday
Victoria Day
Canada Day
Labour Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
These are the only holiays that you are ENTITLED to in the year for which are YOU ARE PAID!
Im not sure about how the american system works for paid holidays or how many they have in gen.
Also, not listed up there are other holidays like civic holidays... which some ppl also might get off and/or paid for |
