who is a Gatecrasher Resident DJ/Co-promoter and has been churning out excellent tunes on each and everyone of the Crasher Compilations...Not only that, I find his Essential Mixes amazing...never fail to introduce new be it, trance or progressive tunes way earlier than any DJ has start to hammer them....Just to name a couple like Urban Train by Tiesto was first ripped off Scottie's Essential Mix and distributed in the mp3 format....Solid Sessions - Janeiro....first featured on his 18 February 2001 Essential Mix....unbelievable.....Scottie sure has a way with obtaining Promos or limited "plastics" way before hand.....could it be associated with his hierachical position @ Gatecrasher....maybe or maybe not....but this guy sure churns out good tunes...lucky I should say...for getting all the LPs first...
Ok...I only have 2 of his Essential Mixes...the one mentioned above and 1 September 2000.....Does anyone know of anymore Essential Mixes by Scottie, please post them here....thanks.

seriously tho, i saw scotty live at the guv a few months back, and he played some kick ass uplifting trance, he played urban train too, that was actually the first time i heard it live, and it sounded so in unbelievable... anyway, he had an amazing set and he will get more and more recognition in the years to come... amazing skills and track selection!!! scotty was 10/10 that night |

Yeah I totally agree with Fire999 and TranceGeek.
Scott Bond is a vey fine trance DJ indeed. His sets produce the most superb quality of uplifting trance. It's a shame you don't hear his name being mentioned on this board until now.
Everyone seems to get excited about Tiesto this and Tiesto that !!!
I'm not trying to diss Tiesto but I think that Scott Bond deserves more respect and attention than those Dutch guys. |

i dont know about that, and simply because tiesto and those Dutch guys are more into producing quality trance, rather than into mixing... dont get me wrong, i really like scott bond's sets, they kick ass!! BUT i dont think it'd be very fair to say that scott bond deserves more respect than tiesto, ferry, avb and such.... :) |

yaaa, i lot of peeps still talk about dat night, Scottie was amazing, banging tunes from start 2 end, im waiting 4 him 2 come back 2 toronto!
as 4 live sets, he was suppose 2 be spinning live on Trance Energy of dis month? correct me dutch peeps, coz im not sure and da stream of his live set is gonna be live from radio538.nl :) :) |

as longest standing resident/co-owner/promoter of gatecrasher, bondie gets his fingers on all these promos from other ppl, u look at the GC line-ups, and how many people he actually employs week in week out... every month tiesto is there, every month or 2 max graham is there... etc etc so it isnt that surprising he gets all these promos b4 anyone else.
Its about time he got sum recognition, he is more consistant than tiesto for a start.. plays just the kind of music that gets everyone moving, weather they like hard trance or uplifting or epic...
he is also good for comedy... he runs around the club out his face with empty bottles of vodka shouting ' it lets stay open til 7'
one in wicked d00d, always plays over the closing time at least half hour :D consistantly amazing... |
