When i open up a link in a new window, the new window only appears as a small bar.
See pic for what i mean.
Any ideas on how to change it so it opens in a full window.
Thanks

first of all try firefox :p browsing in tabs is so much easier
seccondally, open the link in new window, go to maximise the new window,, then imeditely close IE completly (all windows of it) then try again n see if that works |

| Ive just installed Firefox, your running dog is running slightly faster than usual. This due to Firefox? |

Tools -> Options -> General -> Check the "Default" checkbox
MSN Messenger will still open all links to IE but I don't think you can change that. |

use trillian.
And an answer to the first question, it's mostly likely some spyware popup trying to load. |

It's popping up into a small window because IE simply sucks. IE doesn't save the data on how large the window was previously, so just keep maximizing and it will eventually do it. Pain in the ass I know. :)
As far as Mozilla always opening, you can just run click on any filetype you want to open with it, selection Open With... and choose your program.
Also, if you're using IRC and want data saved to your clipboard when you click on a link, Firefox doesn't add it to your clipboard. You'll have to use IE if that's something you're looking for. |

| i don't get it.. IE works for me .. whatever size the window is in normal window size mode, then that's the size forever .. you may need to do some tweeking in the folder options .. have you tried sizing the folder the appropriate way, then go to folder options, and click "like current folder" ?? that may work |
