hi there everyone i am looking to get into producing music
any advice of where i should start... the equipment i will need, how much it will cost and of course... how to use it... i mean i know the creative aspect of it is up to me.... but how to get to the point where i can put the sounds in my head into layers on a track...
i aspire/wish to make music that has that benny benassi or daft punk "style" you know.... that hard hitting, aggressive type (don't know how to describe it with 'producer lingo')
it doesnt necessarily matter... im just putting that out there
any help would be great

| i guess you could start out with downloading the demo of fruityloops and mess around with and c if you have the creativity to make some tunes. Then you can download or buy some vst's and eventually move on to cubase SX or something, or stick with fruityloops if you are really good with it. I dont have knowledge of hardware, only that it is very expensive. I think you should start with the software i described above. For further questions about the program itself and stuff you should use the search function in many music forums as there are a sjitload of music production topics. |
