| You need either a ProTools Box or a DSP card for this. So it's not a VST. :( |

Actually they ARE a VST Instrument/AU Instrument BUT they are hardware dependant - the Indigo VST/AU runs on the Pro Tools hardware and the Virus|Powercore runs off of the Powercore PCI card
and if you're wondering -
NO they are not/will not be pirated
NO they can not run without the hardware
I recommend the Powercore one, but it's very pricy (about $775 with the PCI card)
I would recommend getting a desktop/keyboard Virus B/C over it, though - the hardware versions have a much more stable resell rate and are more fun to program |

I've never seen it.. but the problem is that when the Powercore software updates, you have to get a new version of the Virus as well (or whatever third party plugins you use). This can prove to be quite a problem for the warez community.
I believe H20 said that it's not that the Powercore/UAD plugins CAN'T be cracked.. it's that they feel that if you can afford the card, you can afford the plugins... which is true.. but it sux.. :) |

Best place to buy a Powercore Element in the US is http://www.jrrshop.com - $375 new
Plus the plugins are all $200 when they're normally 250 from TC |
