Desperate Housewives - Hype?

| I haven't watched a single second of this show, but here in the United States this show seems to be getting a lot of hype. Has anybody here watched it? If so, what the is it about (keep it unopinionated about the plot line)? I really can't see myself liking it just based off the media . |

then again, i have never sat down and see one full episode of 'sex in the city' either .. |

I had never heard of that "LOL" movie a couple threads down, and now ive never heard of this television show.
God damn it, isnt someone my age supposed to be informed with all this pop culture ? |

Aaron Spelling is involved, too.
and, it is sort of a by-product of 'sex and the city', except they're all married/divorced/widowed. and there are supposed family secrets and it's really just gash. |

kinda skeptical cuz there's only one SATC for me, but who knows it may be a good show... going on a sidenote- I hear the SATC movie may be in the works :)

It's on Sunday nights, 9-10 pm EST on ABC, the same time slot that SATC used to be on.
(Too bad it's on at the same time as My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss [so evil but so funny! :p], but many thanks to my DVR, I can watch both :) )
See for yourself and form your own opinion
I enjoy it in its own right, and it seems to be likewise for most of the people I have talked about the show with, who have also seen it.

well i just would like to say that i enjoyed teri hatcher during the "adventures of lois and clark" days .. mucha hot! .. but now, she looks too old ... maybe my mind is twisted .. the other 3 chicks .. maybe hot .. not that woman with the monday night football disaster ... looks too old to me . |

The one who is boinking the gardener is the hottest one. Teri is still pretty, the rest are menh. |
