i have to say, some of you people have the most beautiful houses. midav and remidi in particular. that remidi photo, if i was on those 1200s, id fling open the windows, move the monitors so they are pointing out, boom some phat tunes down to the street below and get a street party going with sunset over the horizon. proper view to a mix. id have some mates working round the clock attaching carrier bags to 6 packs of bud and parachuting them out the window to the party goers below. WE BRING YOU BOOZE AND TRANCE! |
Derivative, I've had the same exact idea (well not exact, but pretty damn close) after I setup my 1200s that way - one problem though - nobody listens to trance around here
New York is a dead-zone for trance, unfortunately. :(
I could always pretend there are people outside my window listening to me spin, can't I? :toocool:
Enferno, that's one of the hottest (sexiest) studios I've seen!

yea i was about to say remidi's house doesnt seem to cut it anymore. heheheh.
also, remidi, you could just about get away with doing a mix set out of a top floor window in portswood, southampton. granted the view wont be as nice . as long as it wasnt too late at night, half the people along tennyson road are uni students and most have been battered by the noise pollution of various bands, dj's or just people with gigantic soundsystems blasting it out all along the length of that road. those were fun times... |

| ive got a feeling im gonna move back to portswood next year. we should get all our studio gear into 1 room. point all sound sources out of the highest open window and get some people out on the street ready to bop. |

What else do you need, eh? :)
I see you've got the same monitors as I do. How do you like them? |
Love em... of course, I still need a proper mixing desk so I can place them equidistantly from my melon but...soon.
