I too have had bad experiences with the mystery bags :), but there's always one or two that are good, and the rest look good in my shelf :)

I once bought a Sasha remixes vinyl hoping to flog it quickly to a few mates who'd like it. They didn't want it :(

http://www.discogs.com/release/92296 is it :p

I bought this blindly too... and wasn't too impressed. I bought quite a few when I first started buying vinyl. When Greece 2000 was being played on white labels and I heard the name three drives being thrown about, I found this release in HMV and bought without listening.

Three Drives on a Vinyl - Turkey 2000 [Massive Drive Recordings]

Though it sounds very , I don't mind the melody towards the end.

A few others I bought:

Marc et Claude - A Tribute to Kraftwerk [Go For It]
Marc Almond - Out There [Mercury] Because of the Tony De Vit remix

Though occasionally I have been fortunate:

Philippe Van Mullem - The Secret Folder [Bonzai Trance Progressive]
The Auranaut - People Want to be Needed [Barracuda]

Needless to say why it was the worst, and what I was expecting. I already had the good version ( http://www.discogs.com/release/1695 ) though, this one was for someone else who, as you might understand, didn't want it.

Ah well, it was only a single euro.

Starecase - Faith

there was a track i really liked from them that i couldnt remember the name that time i went to the record shop , they of course did not got any tts so i can check it out so i assumed that was it..when i got home apperentaly it wasnt.

btw the tune i looked 4 was "HOPELESS" ;)

McBass - Louder

produced by Marco V and Bates. :D
It contains the melody of Falco's "Jeanny" :nervous:

Paul van Dyk - Nothing but You

The Original Vandit pressing. For weeks, I had this mp3 rip from a live set where PVD played this awesome version that was a total rip off of his remix of guide me god, but was great none the less. I was so hyped for the release. Then I dropped money on the vinyl, got it, ripped it open, and dropped the needle. I said,

WHAT THE .

As we all know by now, he totally changed the version, took some key elements out that I really loved, added some rather weak synths, and all while still making it sound like a remake of his previous mix. It was at this time that I swore off of PVD and Vandit records forever.

To this day I don't have the Nothing But You vinyl, because I promised myself that I would only buy the original version if it ever saw pressing.

Have the Berlin Mix on the Reflections sampler, but that doesn't count. :p

Youre lucky. Thats the last time I buy an album without listening to the samples first.

On vinyl? Without having heard anything on it? That's quite a feat. :haha:
