COLOR=blue]Actually, i just got done doin a lil spinnin', and i was just hittin up the hooj for a min. They arent bad...not hard beats, but very good build ups. Sort of crowd teaser because you think the beats are gonna drop in but actuallythey just add more percussion and backround music. Right there i was talking about side b" of david james, its alright in my mind, but side "a" is more of my style, more vocals, not song vocals, but sampled lyrics...not too bad of an album![/COLOR] |

Both Hooj and Hooj Promo service are bad ass. I have nearly half of hooj's releases in the last year, and I'm seriously considering subscribing to the promo service (I've only heard great things about it).
Safe bet, imho. |

| The label itself is da bomb if you're into house and progressive. They only release good music and a lot of them become classics. As for their promo service, I just signed up and I purchased five promos right away and they're greeeeaaat. |

thanks for the info guys.
I'm going to go and have a look around the site to make some decisions.
I can't really tell the styles of music that they do the promos for. I'm looking more for the tranccy / progressive type sounds.
Thanks again

Sorry for the late reply, but I couldn't just read about this thread and not post to it. I absolutely love hooj...everything they put out is pure class.
Everytime I see a hooj sleeve at the record store I run to it! :)
Peace,
