I used to subscribe to URB magazine a couple years ago (1999-2001) and every issue was a free sampler CD.
I recently found all those sampler CDs and i've been listening to some great unknown and known tracks & artists:

Funkstorung
Mephisto Odyssey
303infinity
Pharcyde

slum village
etc..
a whole bunch of eclectic hip-hop, downtempo, big beat, trance, drum n bass etc..
I used to only listen to the trance-only tracks, but i've been listening to the CDs again and i'm just blown away by all the different tracks. It's awesome
Did anyone else subscribe to URB? or Mixmag or XLR8TR or any other EDM magazine that gave out free cds?
