Just because the followers of the religion don't end up practicing the religion as it's meant to be, doesn't mean that the doctrine itself is incorrect or stupid.

i.e. Don't blame Christianity for the stupid acts of its' followers.

Lol, is the pastor doing anything wrong? I don't see that he forced them to do anything, they each consented to sex with him, even if he did fill them with lies (and maybe a bit of something else  ). It probably happens day to day in most relationships. Just because he is a pastor they take him to court.

The dirty slags should be punished for being so stupid! :tongue2

I agree. Let the church do whatever they wish, excommunicate him (or the equivelant), but it doesn't appear that he raped these people.
Floorfiller
what he was doing was wrong because he was using his position of influence over these people as a means to make them sleep with him...

Anyway, I agree he is wrong, and as DJ FC stated the church should deal with him appropriately. But these women consented. True, he fed them plenty of lies, but it is up to those women to choose whether to believe what he tells them.

If he forced himself on them, then a legal case is more realistic.

That's true.

His church should probably throw him out, but uneless he raped the women, I don't think they have a legal case against him (though you never know with some of these taliban-like judges).

Floorfiller, I LMFAO at your pic, but didn't say anything either.
