Vinyl Survey
View this Thread in Original format
Shane Tighe
Greetings all,
I would like to take a small survey to find out where Canadians are buying their trance vinyl. Please reply to this post and let me know. This survey is to figure out the best way of getting better and more trance into record shops and if it is worth it to do so. If you think you would buy more trance from record shops provided they had a better selection and more stock, please let us know. All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. If you have idea's of your own to promote the sale of trance vinyl, please add them to your comments.

cheers

Hey, are you the same Shane Tighe that I heard a set of on Digitally Imported one day, and was killing myself to find it for months? Entitled "This Is For The Freaks..."

If so, I'd just like to say it rocks my socks.

Thanks for the kind words. It is indeed me.

I have the mix actually if you still want it.

That'd be awesome!

My fav part in that mix was the remix of Andrea Doria - Bucci Bag. Great tune.

Eye buy my records @ Chemical or Juno. I have also bought from only-djs and dancegrooves - but I prefer Chemical first, Juno second.

I am shying away from buying any more vinyl. I have about 500 records, and for the same money I could have 2500 legally downloaded MP3s (pay for them). Knowing that makes me queezy.

CDJ and Final Scratch is the way to go. Who knows what I'll get for xmas.. ;)

ill give you the fully version of bucci as well if you like. Ill email you with the link for both in about 30 mins.

cheers

Same here. I find that I can get more promo's when i order online, plus the record stores here don't carry all the labels that i want.
Another factor is that I also spin a bit of psy-trance and there's no where to get that stuff here, plus it's 90% only released on CDs.
