i got 2 new technics 1200 mk3s and a vestax pcv-275 mixer when i first started mixing, and i'm very very happy with my purchases. I got everything including 2 carts (crappy carts) for 1230 USD, and it was shipped to me. make sure you get carts that are made for mixing trance (hi-fi carts).

and bargain!

you can save a lot of money by bargaining with places, especially online stores...

Spend it on hookers and blow, the most important part of being a big time DJ.

Okay I think I have finally decided on what I'll get. Technics 1210 M5G's and a vestax pcv-275 mixer. Could someone please recommend me styli (is that stylus plural)? Thanks a lot

sounds good....you don't need expensive carts if you're just going to be learning at home. i'm not the stylus expert, but you should be okay with shure cartridges (they come w/stylii).....i like mine, and they are white (not whitelabel) and the number is something like m57x er somethin....:conf:
