If they're attractive, they're attractive. What you're talking about is when a fit chick isn't dressed like a slapper. They're the best, because you know they're cool, but 99% of other blokes don't look at them twice if they cant see a hefty portion of cleavage at first glance.

i notice that all the time. my bf calls me crazy. i see a lot of "quiet/shy" types of girls hiding behind their hair with glasses on and crappy clothes, just exuding insecurity even though they'll have a really pretty, unique face with beautiful skin, etc... and i just wonder why they don't put a little more effort into their looks because they have serious potential.
it has nothing to do with dressing like a "slapper" all the time as if that's being an attention whore or anything like that...it's about knowing that you are attractive (inside and out) and letting it show and "workin it". there is nothing wrong with that. looking good = feeling good. i see potential in people all the time...perhaps too much. it's a shame though. |

| I agree with the starter of this thread. I knew a girl about 7 years ago & she was a looker but didnt know it. It was my project to date her & change the way she dressed, hair & it actually changed the way she looked at things. She was very pesimestic before & then became optimistic & had self confidence. I turned her into a hottie but screwed up by falling for her at the same time. |

i wasn't talking about girls who dress "differently", as in, a different style. everyone has their own taste, and i respect that. i'm just talking about girls who have the prettiest faces, yet they look like they are still wearing the same that was popular 10 years ago...just old, outdated styles...with frizzy nappy hair that looks like they don't even condition it or ANYTHING. i just meant that they can certainly put a little more effort into being a bit more stylish and presentable. christ, u can go to a thrift store and get a whole new (stylish) wardrobe for $50! there's no excuse, that's all. i'm not saying that every chick needs to put on a pound of make up and a mini skirt to even go to the store either.
also, there's nothing wrong with looking at a girl/guy who is dressed poorly (according to you) and who has a dumb hair style (according to you), and then sort of giving them a mental make over (according to your standards) in your head. i do it all the time. i'm sure there are other people who would think that person is just sexy the way they are, but maybe not to you. i think that's what the thread starter meant. he's probably talking about those nerdy book worm types who walk all hunched over, looking insecure and stuff, and he sees a bikini model if they would just sass it up a bit more. |

no thanks. i love fashion, but i don't think i would do too well in the industry. i was very close to chosing fashion design as my major, but decided advertising would be more fun and suitable for me.
