Question about the DJM-600

Hi, I downloaded a Dave Clarke video recently, think it's Live @ Dance Valley 2001, about 10 mins long. He was using the built-in effects unit to a great extent, maybe a bit too much of the flange! ;-)

But anyway, if anyone has seen it, I thought some of the effects were pretty cool but I don't hear very many other DJ's use them, and most of them use the DJM-600. It's probably a stupid question - but were the effects he used the default built-in effects or would he have used some additional effect generator in addition to make it sound better?

Reason i'm asking is that I'm really considering getting a DJM but I want to make sure i'd be able to replicate the effects he was using to full extent.. just for fun, y'know :)

Cheers

I've seen that video too and he was using just the internal FX processor. If you're looking for a 4 channel mixer with effects though, the DJM is a really dated model thats gonna look even more dated in about a year. The Ecler Nuo-5 and Denon DN-X1500 (the one I have) all have built in FX and far better sound than the DJM.

Cheers!
