Ok, so maybe the topic deserves a bit more explanation:

$1,100 for you and 3 other muppets to spend a New Years's eve with PvD and 2 bottles of Grey Goose/Champagne or similar. That comes out to about $275/person... No, food is not included... Booth - on a first come first serve basis. Rip off???? You betcha! But if you got it - flaunt it! Oh, and in case you're wondering - no, you won't be drinking with PvD... the ticket just gets you in. Don't count on the man to be hanging out with you for the night... :stongue:

Amazing...:whip: But as the saying goes... there's a sucka born every minute....

why would you want to pay to be a vip anyway? the only people who do this will be muppets who dont actually give a about music. So just leave them to it.

THERE IS A $55.26 NONREFUNDABLE SERVICE CHARGE PER TICKET ORDERED.

WTF, how on earth can you make 55 bucks worth of service costs by only processing a ticket order? :nervous:

If there are no reasonably priced standard tickets on offer then you should make PvD's team aware of this. He will threaten to pull out of the gig if he thinks the ticket prices are extortionate.

But im guessing there is a reasonably priced standard ticket and you are just sensationalising this?

Hey, you know how hard it is for the server to process your request and send you your tix via PDF/email??? that takes like almost 30 clock cycles!!! (to us humans it's about 0.000000000001 seconds).

On a serious note, I think it goes like this - "If you're the kind of (unt to pay $1,100 for the event, the $56 will be a drop in a bucket for you... besides, we're sure you'll still have plenty of $100 bills left to snort your coke off t!ts of the 3 hookers you'll be bringing with you" :haha:

There are more or less "reasonable" GA tix - $65... So, no, I'm not really 'sensationalizing' this, just showing that it is possible to excise just about anything.

I'm not even going into discussion how (american) football (not soccer) tickets that sell for $85 be legally sold by a reseller for $499... 'coz that's a different story alltogether.

do they still charge you $55.26 on top of a standard ticket order? or does it not take as much effort to process standard orders? :haha:

What? the PvD or Red Sox??? Coz' if you'd paid $4000 for Red Sox, I got some real estate I wanna pitch you - really cheap... It's a bit of a commute but it's out of this world... Really... It's on the southern side of the moon. Oh, and you can see it too! :stongue: I just don't see how you can pay for any event $4000... Unless you gained at least 10x that. So, if you're a small business and you take out a big boss of some corporation to the baseball game and shell out $4000 for his tickets and he then gives you a contract worth $10000000 - yea, go for it... otherwise, you're a daft (unt..
mike_stefan69
if i had enough money then of course i'd pay it, and im sure most of us would too

the more money you have the more money you'll be willing to spend to have a good time.

In most states, scalping tickets like that is technically illegal...a lot of states have laws that say you can only sell tickets at cost or a mere one cent above cost.

Just a matter of those people being caught or not.
