Is this possible I thought out of the blue was uncomparable with any other trance track. It's like saying what do you like best: pizza or margharita, trance or system f. The one is a definition the other an amazing follow up. Out of the blue revolutionized the genre for f.. sake. If there is a heaven I'm sure that's what they are listening right now.

Hey man how can you say that?!!! Of course we have listened to gouryella and voting for out of the blue doesn't mean that it isn't on the best all time tracks. But Out of the Blue is probably THE best and not only for it's musical content, but for it's significance in trance history. Out of a blue a rip off of gouryella? Out of the blue came a long time before that, and if it wasn't for that track maybe we would say today :ferry who? gouryella who?
Since you are a boy though I forgive you. How old are you anyway? I guess 19 or less? Just a guess.
I mean no offence really, I just hope that you and infact the 52% percent of you may rethink this a bit. |

Achilles, good to see another greek TA on the boards.. no I'm not as young as you think! lol, don't let the name fool you...
It was already explained to me that Out of the Blue came out before Gouryella after that coment, but either way it didn't do nearly the same thing that Gouryella did to me. The first time I heard Gouryella was one of the first times I ever cried to trance. Out of the Blue although it IS a classic isn't even in my top 50 trance tunes! And no, it's not the reason we all know who Ferry is, maybe it's the first tune that gave him 'commercial' fame, but he's done LOTS better quality tunes imo (like Gouryella for one!)... :D |
