Parties/experiences that sucked so bad it "never happened" - 2004 Edition

Anyone have been to a party or had just a bad experience this year?
Mine:
Nightmare experience of the year:
Tiesto at Avalon-NYC June 12 - Musically it had it moments, but nothing mindblowing. However, it was so disgustingly packed on the dance floor. No ventilation whatsoever on the floor. Getting squished for much of the night. I got so fed up, I just left at 4 AM even though Tiesto was still spinning. And worst of all, I paid $40 for this nightmare.
Honorable Mention:
Sasha @ Crobar June 28 - There was one guy on the floor there who stunk so bad, he literaly smelled like a trash can. I could smell him 10-15 feet away....it was horrifying. Ruined what was otherwise a nice night. |

DJ Tiesto sucked like at Cubik and omg god I swear most of this he played was a year old.It was way to packed and IT WAS DAMN PACKED I SWEAR SOME PEOPLE WHERE GONNA RAPE TIESTO, They had to call extra staff members because people where about to climb into the DJ Booth I will never ever go see DJ Tiesto again.
Also Charles Feelgood made feel sick and bad, terrible set I ever heard and why where black getting in for free :whip: :whip: :whip: Feel

i guess, Gabriel & Dresden at avalon last time they were there.
there was nothing wrong with their set, or anything... i was just having an awful night.
i was exhausted,
a mess on mushrooms and all freaked out,
i got stuck in my mesh top (dont ask)
and to top it all off,
i scratched my eye and spent the whole night blind and in pain, thinking i just had glitter in my eye (as usual) and trying to rub it out, just making the whole thing worse.
so we ended up leaving,
getting lost in new york,
and being dead tired for pvd in the hamptons the next night.
come to think of it, a similar bad night i had happened in dc over the summer....
went to 1223 to see pete moutso,
scratched my eye REALLY bad that time, so bad i had to spend the next day putting antibiotic drops in my eye every hour and wailing in pain all day for someone to kill me,
had a hard time getting up to Spank, b/c the bouncers were being s that night, even with my stamp,
left pissed off,
got in a fight with danny,
got lost in dc literally the whole rest of the night and morning,
and drove home half blind and not speaking to each other,
not to mention falling asleep.
there is a pattern there. i need new eyes. |

Sorry for those of you that loved or liked it but,
Tiesto @ Summerstage, was the most boring event I went to all year.
Danny Howells @ Arc, first off the place was hella packed (sardine can x2), secondly I over reacted to a certain situation that I shouldnt have - which shall stay between the person, myself and whomever else it may involve. |

speaking of glitter, at pvd i had glitter on my eyes and my poor guy, later in the night his face had glitter everywhere :p poor thing |

Donald Glaude @ cubik-i didn't get to dance much. my two best friends got sick in the cubik bathroom. seeing puke, makes me want to puke...well you get the picture. I had to drive home afterwards. Upset that my friends got sick, upset I didnt dance, upset that I wasnt feeling good.
Cor Fin. @ Fur-a creepy 33yr old man stalked me. yes, a 33yr old man stalked me and my friend shannon onto the trance floor. he tried to give us alcohol in front of the bouncer. i refused it. bouncer saw him with the booze, saw us w.o wristbands. then me and my friend were kicked out during royce haven's set. i had to have jimmy from panorama and the owner of fur get us back in. And to top off the creepiness of the old guy, he decided to grab my arm when jimmy escorted us back in and ask me," LETS GO TO PLATINUM, THIS PLACE SUCKS!" by far my worst experience at a club bc the world is full of ashats. |
