hi everyone,
i'm moving to denmark in under 2 months for my study abroad program, so i'll be in the copenhagen/malmo area for atleast half a year - very very excited! even started learning some danish/swedish/norwergian from my only norwegein friend.
i'm interested in getting to know the trance scene in the area, so maybe some of you are locals and could help me out... where do fellow trance addicts hang? what are the best clubs to visit? i'm kind of bedroom dj here and i dont want to stop practicing for 6 months, but obviously, i can't bring tt's/vinyls with me. is it possible to meet local dj's there? maybe even play out several times at house parties, small clubs, whatever? please help me out

We have a few TAs who live in the areas your going to stay at... even perhaps some with a couple of TTs... "CJ InterCity" for instance...
DJ Irish... the recident DJ at Di.fm

hey mate I live in Malmö. people around here don't plan on big parties long ahead, usually some flyers pop up a week or so before the event. the trance scene isn't very big here but every once in a while we have some good parties here (mostly in Copenhagen).
The only place I know that regularly plays trance (every 2nd week) is THE TUBE in Copenhagen. but there are others I'm sure :) there is a rumour going around in Malmö that Armin Van Buuren is being booked to play here in the spring of 2005, but that is far from confirmed so I wouldn't count on it...
as for house parties, I've talked a lot with DJ Irish about having one but nothing gets done :toothless other than that I don't know, maybe someone else from this area has more info!
