Well, here's the deal...I was just listening to a recent remix of Solar Stone's Seven Cities by Paris & Sharp, and I must say that this is a total outrage of that classic tune. By no means am I speaking in the shoes of a professional remixer, but Paris & Sharp shouldn't have even taken the chance at making a trance tune into some mainstream progressive one. Anyways, this is only opinion and some might think otherwise. To me, this is just a remix that has gone bad. Would really love to send this tune to anyone who might wanna take a listen to this version. My ICQ number is 121241228.
However, there are some remixes which I find completed with excellent touches whilst keepng in tune with the essence of the original.
Here are some:
Lustral - Everytime (Red Jerry Remix/Edit)
Lustral - Everytime (Katcha's Last Time Remix)
Katcha - Touched by God (The Light Remix)
Katcha - Touched by God (Alfie Conn Remix)
Should you feel that you've heard a remix gone bad or well done, in your opinion, please post them here..I'll love to download them and have a listen...
Cheers :) |

Natious - Amber is a classic progressive trance trax that is absolutely brillant.
The Silk Mix is probably the best mix I've heard but take a listen to
Natious - Amber (Oliver Lieb Mix)
I don't know what Lieb was doing here cause most of his remixes and productions are stunning, but on this occasion i was really dissapointed...how can u not have the breakdown for Amber in the song ??? That's the most critical part of the tune !!! Oh well I guess Lieb kinda messed up there IMHO.
Anyway other Amber remixes which are also quite good
Natious - Amber (Natious mix)
Natious - Amber (Christian West Mix)

IMO, Natious - Amber (Lightning Remix) is by far the best...contact me if you wanna take a listen...don't have a full version cause it's unreleased except on one of Pete Tong's Essential CDs back in 98/99.
The Silk Remix is definately a well-produced remix :)
Will take a listen to Oliver's remix too... |
