thanks for keeping this ancient thread alive guys :)
very pleased you enjoy the remix. i'm still contemplating doing a white label run, but i'm a broke ass college student, so it will probably never happen. |

I am beggining to get ed off now.
I have heard too many good remixes of this track...
Firstly there was Whitesun's remix, then there was Tiesto's (stfu anyone, it was a damn good remix). Then came the Swing to Gravity Bootleg, also awesome. NOW this?!?!
I like it man, I like it a lot. Breakdown is indeed massive massive stuff.
My only gripe with this track is that I feel it could do a lot more damage on the floor if the rhythms were reworked. I.e. rolling basslines and percussions.
don't get me wrong though, it's got energy and it would prolly not sound as good overall if you made those changes, and I do very much like it as it is. It's almost a Chicane style remix.
Finally, love Northern Comfort - Don't Look Back. |

Amazing stuff!!
I heard some bootleg mix of this from Ferry Corsten's "Passport to Netherlands" CD, so I was eager to listen to this. In that remix, the vocals were vocorded heavily, and much of the vocals were missing.
TO me, there is more laid back feelings to the buildup. The vocals were louder than the drums, which could be a terrible thing for the club.
I don't care if this doesn't work for a club, I've never been in a club anyways.
Breakdown is ear candy!
Rest of the track is a very good stream of slow-paced club sounds. I enjoyed it alot. |

hehe thanks a lot guys!
this tune is almost 2 years old now, so it could probably stand a good amount of re-working. i'd hafta say this has been my most well-received tune to date tho. glad you guys like it :D
and peter, we'd love to work on something. we both just got done with school for the summer so we'll be hitting the tunage hard the next few months. let us know if you get any time. |
