Oddly enough I'm looking at this right now...

http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html

Ishkur sure is a ing idiot though. His "not trance" section includes samples of Rank1 - Airwave, System F - Exhale, Envio - Touched By The Sun, Dumonde - God Music, and also says that the entire trance genre as a whole was killed by Ferry Corsten.

Great site the DI.fm one..

Talk about blast from the past some of those tracks... Wow. Altern8 - Activ8 <-- it has probably been 10 years since I heard that! :)

It pretty cool when you take your own personal listening and plot it's evolution from one sub-genre to the other.

Wikkid ass site. Thanks for pointing it out.

They need to add lines between all the DDTT genres.. ;)

Has samples of the first electronic music recorded, Kraftwerk, etc.

My favourite. Describes the differences between genres.
