Melbourne Thunderstorms

| Im dying to see a good thunderstorm. Does Melbourne get good storms? If so, what months do are they most likely to happen? nothing beats sittingout on the porch and watching the rain and lightning go off. |

| haha yes, nothing quite like watching nature do it's thing... prolly on par with thunderstorms and cyclones is watching the stars on a clear and dark night... and i'm not talking after midnight in any of these cities... i'm talking other-side-of-the-flinders-ranges- dark... dark enough to see colours in the stars, not just points of light... now that's cool :D:D |

when it gets really hot you get some good storms
you won't find the best ones in melb tho - sydney and qld are better :D |

As much as I hate the place, when I was up in Darwin, the thunderstorms were *amazing* |

| Melb does get some awesome storms - we haven't had a decent one for ages tho :( Now it's warming up they should be more interesting. |
