Little things....

Its great to see how even doing the little things in life can gain you much respect...
I say this only because every Thursday morning when i go outside for my morning smoke, and the gabage and recycling truck go by, I always pick up my neighbors empty bins and put them beside their home... Just because i'm outside and they're, there so why not... And so now everytime i do this and my neighbors see me doing something outside(after the fact) they make small talk and usually give me a handfull of cookies or something to that extent.. I have no problem doing it for them but its still nice to know that it is appreciated.... So next time you see someone give them a hand... You get a lot of satisfaction from doing it...

It seems as though every time I walk into a store, I end up helping somebody else with something, even though I don't work there.

Damn working in retail since I was 14.

I totally know what u are saying......
this is on my MSN name today...
"Kelly- Thanks you to all the nice guys who open the door for me! Seriously! Makes me happy to be a lady!"

Honestly I get that kind of treatment a lot from guys who are strangers or guys I know!!! Very nice. :)

Imagine how much nicer our city, country, world would be if everyone just had some basic courtesy and even did the smallest things to help each other out...maybe it's just from living in Toronto that I see a lack of "community".

Signs of appreciation for a deed takes u further than lending a hand. and every day i do good deeds for people known and unknown, friendly or strange, i help or do somethign for someone.

The only thing i want to hear is a simple "thanks" and that satisfies me. but then there are sometimes that despite doing something for someone, all u get is a stab in the back or are ignored completely...thats the utter pisser
