'The Club' cable show

Has anyone seen this show on SpikeTV? The only thing that grabs my interest is the different DJs that spin there. Also, they featured Neil from Godskitchen on there..GO NEIL!!! lol
Aside from that I think the show is lame. After the success of a particular show, the "brilliant" minds in Hollywood have to go and copy the style. We've seen this many times before. For example after 'The Apprentice' we've seen copycat shows w/ billionaires Marc Cuban and Richard Branson. Whenever a particular style of film or show is "hot" at the moment, producers in tinsel town will flock to it and produce similar subject films or TV-shows.
So we've seen the success of the employee-driven reality shows. On Discovery we have 'American Chopper'. On other channels there are countless other shows that highlight the reality of different professions or businesses.
SO...I guess SpikeTV took the "creative" route (NOT!) and decided to make a show about a club owner. You know after a while it’s quite obvious these camera and media whores are doing it for attention. The show is an over-emotional look at club promotion....different employees are depicted as different characters in a film.
Sadly the show fails in its authenticity. The club owner probably thinks a show about his small garbage club will garner more attention. He says that he wants his club to be the first club traded on the stock market...hahahahaha
Nice one idiot. I can imagine serious traders selling or buying shares for a club????
The loser doesn’t realize the basics of club promotion. When it comes to the night life and club promotion the MORE MYSTERIOUS a club is the more attention it will attract. Millions have already seen what it looks like...there is no engima...no mystery. We;ve seen what pricks some of the employees are so why would we ant to go pay to see that crap??? I for one will avoid it no matter what retarded DJ decied to play there. And it tells of the Djs character if he or she decides to play at Club ICe just b/c the place is showcased on some lame cable channel.... |

Remeber this 'small garbage club' is in vegas, and things here are run a lil different than say Montana....or New York, or Miami, or La. You need to know the market of this town, they look for 20 somethings with money to spend, and they do a damn good job of it. These people don't go to a club for its mystery, or for its djs, they go to get laid. thats what this town is about, and Ice is doing a good job of exploiting that.
so I do agree that the show freakin blows, I could only sit through one episode. but the club on the other hand is pretty sweet. |

haha, I was in teh bathroom for a while....and I wasnt droppin a deuce.
