and yes he did play Perry O'Neil - Arise, twice!

it was a terrific show. and everybody here in Toronto, gave it good reviews. review

Its nearly the same set he played all over the summer with most tracks in the same order. Oakey used to be the most up front dj with his music but now he is just playing old tunes that anybody can get.

i dont think i'd want to hear that set to be honest.

Why are loadsa ppl calling it the "Cheese In A Can Mix"? My vinyl copy just says "Original Mix".

it was labeled that way a bit over a year ago, for some reason. 'Cheese In A Can Dub', though.

i agree. i stil enjoyed the set though.

i just wonder why DJ's even bother to bring such a large box of records with them, when they are gonna play the same bunch anyways?

Almost every big dj does it, they have their "tried and tested" for that period of time, and just stick to it.

with a few changes here and there

If you listen to his radio shows, that is where most of the upfront stuff comes in.

He is catering to the crowd, playing more well known tunes.. just smart in my opinion.
