how do you guys feel about this record company? if anyone wants to know the list of singles and cd releases Positiva has sent out, then it is right here .
i never really noticed how much they have signed until now. are they considered "signing whores" and sign anyone? .. are they too corporate and are in just for the money now?.. they helped release some instant trance classics, but also some cheese (lasgo, alice deejay) .. does the cheese outweigh the trance here?
let's discuss..

youve never heard of the EMI group? One of the biggest record labels/ music publishers in the world.
robbie williams, kylie minogue etc etc?? |

just like you probably never heard of LaFace records .. you probably heard of Jive, Sony, and Arista ..

| well it's always been a lovehate thing with positiva and the dancecommunity, they have released some of the best tracks ever and made some great tracks available in the uk but they have also released stuff that was just pure bollocks and pure cheese, because they are profitdriven and so. but the only cloud in the silverlining has been that with the release of cheese there has always been one or two good remixes with it and also sadly vice versa when it comes to good songs being released |

Who cares? They are a record label... they are a business. They are in the business of making a profit. They sign music you consider good, and music you consider bad. Who is to say what you, or me, or anyone considers cheese or not to be what only a record label should sign. Yeah they sign big names, and yeah they can. Good for them.
I guess I don't really see the point of this topic? Do you feel they sign too many people/groups? Or do you not approve of who they sign?

| they are a commercial (emphasis on the word commercial) wing of additive, positiva do a good job of signing big selling artists, if you want quality look at the additive offshoot. |

| They release good records, they release bad records, they did release alot of good ones back in the day, but to me it seems to be cheesier, but thats my opinion, you have to remember there just another business. |
