Those burgers ain't got nothing on a Dangerous Dan's Quadruple C
(Colossal Colon Clogger Combo).
24oz burger served with a quarter pound of cheese, a quarter pound of bacon, and 2 fried eggs. Also comes with a large shake (flavor of your choice) and a small poutine.
100% Canadian Beef ;)
Nat, I remember talking to the owner once when I was in and he said a lot of the film people get their grub there because it's open late and it's really the only decent food around (Queen and Broadview). Ever eaten anything from them? I think their chicken burgers are fantastic! Not to mention the banana milkshakes, hehe.

Dangerous Dan's is at 714 Queen St. E., on the northeast corner of Broadview & Queen, opposite the Real Jerk.
They deliver for a nominal fee to pretty much all of downtown: 416-463-7310.
Menu is on the site I posted. I heartily recommend eating in there at least one. A great experience.
Oh, and they have a selection of local microbrews on tap (had Mill Street Auburn last time). |
