good night.. i came in at around 2:30 am.. it was good.. met up with goodnet and diginut and lkd and ezekiel
a bit empty but noen the less osome nice breaks
missed tta? if he was there WTF where did he go?!
anyways good night.. great to see everyone there
who i mentioned and those who i didnt.. ill see you in the next life :D |

Hybrid @ System was an enjoyable night. I really like Hybrid's breaks DJ sets now that I got a real good listen live. Hybrid has a truely original sound w/thier nu-skool breaks. It was edgy, harmonious, trancey, and hardcore at the same time throughout the course of thier set. Most importantly, it was hella danceable too.
Props to the few TAs in attendance that i metup with. Nrg, LKD, Diginut, Mercure & girl (can't remember her name). The crowd wasn't as big as it could've been.. but there was plenty of room to dance & a decent amount of people were showing thier support for Hybrid :D |

| My first time at system and I liked it! That entrance room was pretty cool, danced it up in there, then in the main room, danced it up again like crazy haha. Hybrid was pretty good, mad progy stuff sometimes, wicked time. It kinda reminds me of being in my basement in the main room. Its all cozy, underground literally, not to big, not to small, it gives it a good vibe! Pretty cool place :D |

It was lots of fun. Mike and Sally, I swear you left exactly 2 minutes too early because they started to pick it up RIGHT after you took off. Their set from 2:30 onward rocked, it was like a classic Hybrid set but mixed in with a lot of dirtier nu-skool breaks. I didn't hear any of the boring proggy/housey stuff afterwards (not that I don't love house, but it wasn't what I came for). The crowd was totally getting into it - actually it's funny because it was a small crowd, but from where I was it looked big because everyone in the room was up near the front busting moves.
Wish I could have stayed longer but I was totally drained. I have to learn to pace myself on these nights. Shawn, Liam, Karim, Mike, Sally, and Kelly, it was great to have all of you out last night, I wish more people understood the greatness that is Hybrid. :D
And a big fat  to Kytracid and all the other no-shows who posted in the roll call - it's been nearly two years since Hybrid came to System, how could you miss it!? |

I had a great time. Hybrid blew my mind from 2-430 HOLYY FACK!!! Once they were done...I was done!!! They busted some crazy tracks that kept me going pretty good. Before that time I danced my ass off in the front room. I was loving the sound and vibe in there.
MIKI, thanks for a wicked night!! It was nice to finally meet you. I met a lot of nice ppl...mostly guys. Dan thanks for being my partner in crime again! I was lovin' your moves with the glowsticks!
I am hung over today!!!! But it was all well worth it! |
