| Can anyone recommend some quality sites that teach how you to mod your computer? I'm talking about removing spy/adware, modifying your start up programs, etc... |

well i have to say that adware 95% hits your %Windir%, %Windir%\system32\, or %Windir%\Downloaded Internet Programs .. something like that .. they usually hit your windows directory ..
as far as startup programs, you can edit it using "msconfig" app in the Run command, and warning! .. if you know what you are doing .. hit "regedit" to edit your registry .. whatever you do, do not touch your classes objects in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT .. unless you know what you are doing .. you can edit your startup stuff in HKEY_CURRENT_USER AND HKEY_USERS |

| spyware blaster is also an awesome program that will block spyware from being installed on your pc..it is also free.. |
