Ann Coulter: Canada is "lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent";

Tucker Carlson: "Without the U.S., Canada is essentially Honduras"

On November 30, as President Bush visited Canada to meet with Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in an effort to improve the two countries' strained relations, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter and CNN Crossfire co-host Tucker Carlson ridiculed the United States' northern neighbor. On FOX News Channel's Hannity & Colmes, Coulter said that Canadians "better hope the United States doesn't roll over one night and crush them. They are lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent." On CNN's Wolf Blitzer Reports, Carlson stated: "Without the U.S., Canada is essentially Honduras, but colder and much less interesting"; he went on to say that instead of following politics, "the average Canadian is busy dogsledding." And on Crossfire, Carlson referred to the "limpid, flaccid nature of Canadian society."

Tucker Carlson IMO hardly comes across as being intelligent and well informed on pretty much anything. (including his dress sense). As a result he goes for the one line shoot downs without actually refering to concrete facts. I don't necessarily take to heart anything that was said. Nonetheless it would be nice to see him die a slow death...

now did i just say that out loud? ;)

I thought it was funny when Bush wouldnt even shake chretiens hand because i dont like the guy. However it says sheer volumes about Bush as a statesman. He has absolutely no diplomatic skills whatsover. Furthermore our country roasts carolyn parrish about stating some personal opinions yet hardly a whimper when Bush outright snubs our former prime minister. What a shame. Further shame is how hordes protest a foreign government yet let our very own walk all over us at whim.

I dont think ill ever understand this country.
