Hi folks, it's that time again. Here we have 159 minutes of the finest upfront trance to keep you rocking through Christmas, the new year, and beyond!

This was my December mix recorded live on Friday 3rd and broadcast on DJ Source Radio. As always, it's done so it'll fit on a double CD, but if you haven't got Nero or the like in order to split it down, PM me and I'm sure we can arrange something :)

As ever, all comments, recommendations, good, bad, or ugly, are all very welcome below. Anyone trying to convert me to prog or funky house is wasting their time, no matter how convincing your arguments as to the sexual orientation of trance music. However, any further debate on this issue is also welcome in this thread!

So go on, treat yourself to an early Christmas pressie. Enjoy! :D

Nice tracks.
Found one major mistake so far - in the tracklist... The song labeled "John O'C pres. Mannix - Mercury" is actually Inner State (Airbase) - Changes (John O'Callaghan remix).

Blimey, just spotted that myself! Well pointed out mate. I've amended the tracklist accordingly.

I MUST have that WhiteLabel..

Maybe it's just because I'm hearing new AVB material, but this is sick. :)

What was your BPM in this? It sounded 'too' pitched up.
LazarusDJ
The BPM starts around 140 and moves up towards 148 by the end which is about standard for me. What can I say, I like it hard and fast! :)

I wouldn't say I butchered it, but nonethless I appreciate you for having had a listen. :) I'm a very, very, very big fan of Mr Tate and ensure I play at least one of his tunes in every show I do.

I just thought it rounded things off nicely, and I've always seen it as a tune that can be played slow or speeded up but maybe it's just me that likes it that way. Perhaps if you'd heard the set through instead of skipping to it it may have sounded a bit better?

But thanks for the comment and thanks for taking the time out to listen - I do appreciate all input good and bad and I'm not going to go and hang myself or anything if it's not someone's cup of tea :) DJing's only a hobby for me and I've no illusions of grandieur or world domination whatsoever!

Peace.

Just had a listen to your set and it sounded great. Mixing was solid and I enjoyed the tune selection :D

I'm not quite sure what you mean be "butchered" this tune. Yes it was faster than normal, but it still sounded great and flowed with the mix.

Good stuff again Laz :D

mix flows well and if you listen to it all the way through that track doesnt sound butchered :)

LazarusDJ
