| Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi as we know were the players found to be using steroids while playing baseball. Aside from potentially being thrown out of the MLB, is it possible for them to face criminal charges? |

possibly .. prejury to the judicial system, when the government asked them if they used roids, and they said no ..
but then again, that's small petty stuff .. they probably would have to pay a fine for that .. |

giambi's off the hook. i believe the deal that prosecutors gave was full immunity to the players IF they told the truth on the stand during grand jury testimony. giambi said on the stands that he used steroids knowingly. bonds on the other hand said he didn't know what was given to him but he used it. it's a little bit harder to prove if bonds was lying with this statement, but if he's found lying, obviously perjury is the first charge. i'm sure there're others. |

im not positive but i think that perjury is a felony. im trying to remember back to when chris webber was charged with it and i think it was considered a felony. |

he's off the hook too because that main guy in the trial died of old age. no one to prove that cwebb lied on the stand i think. |

I think Bonds' records should be erased... (at least the HR record)
It's like winning the tallest man competition while wearing 5" platfom shoes...
I could care less about Giambi
he proved to be a sellout-slash-tosser when he left Oakland and signed that fat deal with the yankees... |
