the prodikeys thing is that black keyboard with a piano roll attached to it right? i had a go on one of those. the keys are small and flimsy and they have this soft feel to them with almost no action or springiness or responsiveness to the keys. it feels like a toy put simply. cuz the response of the keys is so...soft (?? sorry, i cant think of a better word at the moment) it doesnt feel brittle or breakable even if you slam down hard on them but theres no weight behind it but it just feels cheap playing it. especially if you have played a real piano or a digital piano with weighted keys (i.e. alesis QS6). it goes without saying that you dont get features like aftertouch or anything like that. if you really want a bottom of the line midi controller, even an m-audio oxygen 8 is better than prodikeys (and that feels like a toy aswell. just less so. evolution mk425c is much better and similarly priced. it just doesnt feel like a toy)
i imagine the prodikeys would last 6 months. despite it being flimsy, the only way i can see of totalling it inside of 6 months is if you actually play it with the express intention of destroying it. |

| Where are you located in Mexico that this is your only alternative? I know my fiancee has had major difficulty mailing packages to her relatives in Mexico, but I thought that was just in the smaller areas. |

| If you are willing to import from the states, try asking Dj Tranz on here, he is one of the guys behine djmart.com. He could atleast give you a quote for the shipment and what not. |

| I was given this keyboard as a gift. I have the DM model. I love it. Its works well for the things I need to use it for. It comes with its own software or can be used with other programs such as Fruity Loops. You can use it to test sounds or record notes in the piano roll using the keyboard. |
