what happened to that feeling?

Damn!!
Did't think I would get such a knee jerk reaction from you all, no harm intended to anyone. I feel everything went too commercial, too fast , the true elements were lost. Does anyone remember the better living centre days? that was the there!!
I do ..and I have to travel to Europe for that same vibe.. kinda sucks..thats why I have the bad taste in my mouth.. need some more gum I guess eh?!!
and I wouldn't expect anyone to travel to steel City to see a gig...the fact is, our local talent is loved everywhere and will travel to please other communities, small and large. That's what I meant!

Was this even advertised? I'm in Hamilton every single day and I didn't see anything about it at all.

There is no scene worthy to me anymore except for what the underground dj's like Paladin 5.1, Unabomber, Dragnfly, Lady Bass etc are trying to do!! They all went to Hamilton to a gig which was quite commendable. That deserves merit. The big boys had their fun and made their money already. God knows I made them rich ;) So chill, put merit where it really belongs. If you think you got skills as a dj...look me up we will shoot video of you in action..that's what time it is....been there...done that...got many Tiesto shirts and merch... dig??? like you care too.

STFU you whinny little bitch.

You like your underground, high five man, you kick ass!

hmm, how do you know that there were no TAs there?

we don't know what 75 percent of the people look like on here.

like it was said before, where was it advertized? and to tell you the truth, why would I go to Hamilton when Eddie Haliwell is spinning at Boa right down the street from me?

it is very good to support the local scene and the underground scene but there are some things that can't be expected of the crowd.

and to tell you the truth you aren'd doing these DJs a favor by putting their names in such a negative post.

instead you should do a proper review and give them props.

What are you trying to say? Looks like a sales pitch gone horribly wrong.

Wha ha! Why don't you go buy a pack of gum, I'll show you how to chew it.

With a -ass attitude like you're displayed: Promoters/DJs - if you know whats good for you, keep this negative basard away from your gigs. This type of PR doesn't bring people to your party.

I received a flyer for this at the beginning of last month from one of the promoters. A very nice flyer! Great to see something so big and shiny again ;)

The party itself also looked somewhat interesting... However, I don't drive, live on the doorstep of many other popular clubs and had prior engagements of my own. Above all else, I have to face the fact that Hamilton just isn't my scene.

It's unfortunate that yellow1 had to use such a confrontational tone in his original post... I'm certain it doesn't reflect that of the promoters of "Disruptive Behaviour", Soundbwoy Entertainment and Round Table Records.

Here are some photos from the event:

dont like the attitude...

Hamilton is dirt, I live right next to it and I would much rather go to Toronto to party. They have no decent venues, I have witnessed many people try to get the scene going in that town, sole, fever, copper lounge, it doesnt have the right elements to be a BIG edm city like Toronto.

I got skills, bust out the camera:D

LOL I was going to flame this guy but I just didn't think it would do any good.

The artists he mentioned seriously know how to put on a good show, but the tone and message of this guy's posts don't help them at all. I too enjoy underground trance over commercialized trance (read tiesto). However, knocking other people's opinions of such artists doesn't help the scene.

UNITY as john would say ;)

Looking at the pictures, the event looked fairly successful.

What was the complaint again?
