I love Canada and have thought that the US-Canada relationship has always been a symbiotic one. Though differences sometimes arise between the two countries, there is no comparison to how many differences arise within even the US, itself.

I wouldn't count on the media ceasing to ridicule itself in the near future - it's just become such a big business, there's bound to be idiots like these.

edit: hey, was francetuckers in that video? Was he the one with the bow-tie? :stongue:

though i'm sure you would like to think i am larger than your simple life, your afterthought is no more than a fart. i am far more sympathetic to the friendly canucks than i am toward a conglomerate nation such as the US of A. The video provides an excellent example of what truly disgusts the rest of the world.

What a stupid whore.

I have violence, but I do reserve the right to backhand a select few people I ever come across in the street. She's way up near the top.

No-one parodies the idiocy of the American right better than the American right itself and Ann Coulter is a perfect example of that. She is to political commentary what the WWF is to world sport (scripted, brash and over-the-top, yet ultimately entertaining in a perverse sort of way) and I'd advise against taking her too seriously if you want to maintain your sanity. She's nothing but a gimmick and I'm still convinced that she'll reveal herself as a liberal satirist at some point in the near future.

As for that GOP shill with the bowtie, I recommend tracking down the interview him and that cardboard cut-out liberal did with Jon Stewart on Crossfire - ing hilarious.

"You're partisan, um, what do you call it.... hacks."

"Now how old are you?"
"Thirty-five...."
"And you wear a bow-tie? So this is theatre! And I'm not suggesting you're not a smart guy becuase those are not easy to tie... but what you do is not honest, what you do is partisan hackery."

"You have a responsibility to the public discourse and you have failed miserably."
"You need to get a job in a journalism school or something..."
"Yeah, and you need to go to one."

"I do think you're more fun on your show, just my opinion."
"Do you know what's interesting though? You're as big a dick on this show as you are on any show!"

Ahhh.... good times.

Not necessarily. I know alot of people who think America's military supperiority gives us the right to do as we please. My dad is one of them, and he felt this way long before this clip aired.
