check all your connections and make sure everything is plugged in all the way
also, if you are mixing on turntables make sure there is no dust under the needle |

if you are using turntables check your grounding wires.
if not, it could well be your computer creating it.. mine used to do it until i moved the decks into another room. |

i don't have turntables, just a double cd player... i wondered if i has to do something with my soundcard... Could it be that?

| it could be. have you got the computer plugged in to the same plugs as your setup? try moving the computer away, it worked for me! |

| If it is a grounding problem, go to a hardware store and pick up this adaptor that takes a 3prong plug and turns it in to a 2 prong (minus the ground). I had a strange noise coming from my mixer and this solved it. Best part is the adaptors cost about $1 |

| Yea the buzzing you hear in the background of music is comonly a problem with grounding. Search the threads and some have links to pages upon pages about grounding and what cables to use and how to fix the anoying buzzing noise you can hear. |

| also, don't rule out the sound card. I'm still using onboard audio (I know--shame...but i'm really broke i can't help it). Its usually fine when i record. But if i open any kind of production software, there is this crazy buzzing, and its annoying as hell. What soundcard are you using? |
