Tiesto's Production Crew - Big or Small?

I'm having a discussion with a friend of mine. I'm wanting to know about the staff that handles Tiesto's gigs. Specifically, I'm wanting to know about how many people are involved in his gigs worldwide, that assist him, such as PR people, setup and teardown people, security, managers, those types of people.

Would you say its a large number of people? I feel that it is, based on the fact that he is as big as he is, but I can find no real information on such people. My friend on the otherhand, feels Tiesto does most everything himself and has a tiny crew of just a few people. I know this may all seem pointless, but if anyone has any info that might support either theory, that his crew is large or small, I'd greatly appreciate it.

DJs don't have a production crew. They go to clubs, which already have their own setup, and play, then they leave. The only times a crew will construct something special would be for large events such as TiC, Innercity, Mysteryland, etc. And even then, it is not a crew that is hired by the DJs, it's a crew hired by the promoters.

A DJ only has a few people travel with him.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info idoru.

Even this is rare, most of the time they fly alone. (at least for trans-atlantic trips)

An example of a crew like that would be Spundae here in the U.S

Or, anybody who works in a club on sound, lighting, etc.

what they said about DJing crews. Production Crew's a little different.
i believe Tiesto said in an interview that he did have a Sound Engineer, and that the production work was split 50/50. he basically comes up with the idea for a track (or so he says) and his engineer produces it for him, and they polish the sound until finalising it. or so he says.
Sasha also has a Production crew, i believe with Charlie May and two other guys; they produced the whole of Involver. he also had a lot of help from Junkie XL on Airdrawndagger as far as engineering the tracks and the album as a whole.
