Probation is NOT jail time. It means, don't get in trouble over the next 3 yrs, or else you WILL have to serve jail time. Probation can be supervised, where he'll need to check in with a probation officer on a regular basis, or it could be unsupervised (Just stay outta trouble). |

Pretty funny that this comment was based on you not even knowing what probation is. We have the same thing in Canada. It really takes a genius to go off on a tirade about laws without even understanding what they are. :rolleyes: Maybe this will teach you to actually get your facts straight next time before bitching about America (wishful thinking - not bloody likely...) |

ha ha, no come on. this was a pretty damn big mistake. going on about laws and stuff when the guy only got probabtion. it's not like he is getting the chair or something.
i would have let it slip by one post because obviously he never read the article but twice, come on, that deserved to get diginutted. |

Honest mistakes I usually ignore. The only time I really get bothered is when someone makes a totally ignorant comment that's intended to promote some sort of prejudice or misguided agenda. It's unfortunate that it happens so often lately - last year it was more of an occasional thing.
Back to the topic at hand: that guy looks freaky. Is that a goiter on his left cheek or just an unshaven tuft of facial hair? |
