remy was purenergy at arc last year as
if his whole mind was focused at one
single task this alone can compensate
for all the possible shortcomings this fr

if i had a club i would hire 2 dj's at
all times who would play against one
another while taking turns every 25 mins
this way the "musical interpretation"
bull s would be taken to the highest
possible level for the longest period
of time

thus no chance for a sucker to wonder
around thinking about something else but
playing the best possible music leaving
no time for promos

and by that i mean danceable club music
not the one you listen while taking a walk
or kissing someone

all sets aside from good transitions must
be viewed as a whole product similar to
a painting where the theme for playing
to 1000 souls should be only one...

energy, energy and more energy

and in the event a dj "underperformed" to
be replaced by his counterpart or opener
to lead the rest of the evening

this dynamics would put the interest of
the fans ahead of the dj's own agenda or
limitations

concentrating solely on playing the best
possible set!

and that is exactly what i would have
done at the roxy the night armin
desperately underplayed greatly to
sean cusick last spring

the same might happ this fr maybe not...

ciao ! ciao

DJ Remy is awesome....he killed it at arc last year for Danny Howells bday bash...the first time I heard Beastie Boys v. Matthew Dekay was when he played it around 4am...and Danny was swinging from the rafters w/ the "Danny Girls"!!!

However..if I had the money Id be going to Hernan Cattaneo at Crobar...free admission on a few guestlists before 12 and 15 reduced till 1am...thats solid. Hernan is smooth, sexy progginess at its best.
